Regional Coordinator for Europe and Eurasia
Dennis Lolli has worked for Perkins since 1970. He started out as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Instructor and Low Vision Education Specialist, before assuming the role of Regional Coordinator for Europe and Eurasia. The majority of his work has been with children who are blind with additional disabilities and children who are deafblind. Mr. Lolli has written a number of articles and has made presentations at national and international conferences.
Previously, he was Chairperson of the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), the certifying body for Orientation and Mobility Specialists, Low Vision Therapists and Rehabilitation Teachers. He is currently a member of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER) and International Council for the Education of People who are Visually Impaired (ICEVI).
Mr. Lolli received a Masters in Special Education from Boston College and a Bachelors’ degree in Sociology from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. He also received a Certificate of Continuing Optometric Education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS).
